Quick fix to enable 100 dpi fonts in LTSP 3.0
The 100 dpi fonts are not included in the fonts package LTSP provides.
I have written a short description of how to enable these fonts. They are
usually installed on a machine that provides LTSP services, and should
be fairly easy to enable.
No responsibilities for results are accepted, if you try this it's at your own risk.
The difference between 75 and 100 dpi fonts are shown in two screenshots
of Konqueror's splash screen (size 235k).

Quick fix for OpenOffice.org availability to many users
I've put together a little package that automates the distribution of OpenOffice.org
to many users at one single machine. The problem has been that every single user
has had to run the setup script in order to have access to the OpenOffice.org office
software suite. If you have many users on a machine and they balk at the prospect
of using the command line, you can use this little package to make the icons
available in the app menus in KDE. As deafult they pop up under the Office submenu.
I've tested it on some machines I have access to, it seems to work on Red Hat Linux 7.x.
But it's not been tested heavily.
Use at own risk. If it breaks anything, you get to keep the pieces.
Unpack, then cd to the
oofiles
directory. Read README.
Run setup.sh
as root. That's it.
Get the bundle here.
